Meet the Principal
Dr. LuEva Collins, Principal
I’m Dr. LuEva Collins and I am honored to serve as the principal of Bea Salazar Learning Center. This is my 20th year in education and my 12th year in CFB. I am entering my 4th year as principal at Bea Salazar Learning Center. Prior to joining Salazar, I served as an assistant principal at both Creekview High School and Newman Smith High School. Before joining the CFB family, I taught chemistry in Tyler and Mesquite. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive, loving, and challenging learning environment for all students.
I hold a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University. I am a proud HBCU grad from Grambling State University. I attended Lamar University for my Master’s degree.
At Bea Salazar, our mission is to empower students to achieve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success. My goal is to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and challenged by learning in a highly structured, restorative environment where students, parents, and staff work together to achieve academic excellence and personal growth.
I am excited to work with the exceptional team here at Bea Salazar Learning Center and look forward to a successful year ahead. If you have any questions or would like to discuss our school’s programs and initiatives, please feel free to reach out.
Warm regards,
Dr. LuEva Collins
Principal
