Introducing CFBISD’s 2026-27 theme, “¡Sí Se Puede! Yes We Can!”

With the 2026-27 school year officially underway, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD is inviting parents, local partners and community members to join students and staff in celebrating this year’s district theme: "¡Sí Se Puede! Yes We Can!"

While campus hallways and classrooms are already energized by the new school year, this theme invites everyone to celebrate the resilience, strength and determination of the entire district.

“Our theme is more than just a tagline —it is a mindset we want to channel into everything we do this year,' said CFBISD Superintendent Dr. Wendy Eldredge. “Our students and staff have already hit the ground running with incredible energy, but our full strength comes from our entire community standing behind them.”

CFBISD is encouraging everyone in the community to personalize the theme to highlight daily goals, challenges and shared victories across the district:

• In the classroom, students can build confidence, from “Yes We Can code this robot” to “Yes We Can ace this reading challenge.”
• On our campuses, staff can work together during major events, like “Yes We Can welcome 500 families at our open house event tonight.”
• Across our departments, teams are reaching operational milestones together, including “Yes We Can develop this new curriculum” or “Yes We Can finish this project before the deadline.”

Beyond daily motivation, the district plans to embed the theme into upcoming initiatives and stories throughout the 2026-27 school year.

“When we work together and believe in what we can achieve, there is no limit to what we can accomplish this school year,” Eldredge expressed.
